HAKI (Indonesian Society of Civil and Structural Engineers) in collaboration with AIT Solutions, Asian Institute of Technology is going to conduct a webinar on Performance-based Seismic Design of Buildings on 7 March 2026 at 08:00 AM (Bangkok Time).
This webinar will explore the latest developments and practical applications of Performance-Based Seismic Design (PBSD) for buildings, including real case studies, advanced modeling approaches, and ground motion selection based on Indonesian seismic design regulations.
Mr. Thaung Htut Aung, Executive Director of AIT Solutions, Asian Institute of Technology, will present “Case Study: PBSD of Tall Buildings (Modeling, Analysis, and Evaluation of Results)” together with Prof. Iswandi Imran (President of HAKI and Professor at Institut Teknologi Bandung), who will discuss “Current Practice of PBSD in Indonesia,” and Dr. Nick Alexander (PhD Candidate at Institut Teknologi Bandung), who will present on “Ground Motion Selection Based on Indonesian Regulation.”
