On August 19th, Mr. Thaung Htut Aung, Executive Director of AIT Solutions, delivered a presentation at the Annual Seminar of the Indonesian Society of Civil and Structural Engineers (HAKI), on 19th & 20th August, Jakarta, Indonesia.
His presentation, titled “Enhancing Seismic Resilience – Special Considerations in Performance-Based Seismic Design (PBSD) Practice),” focused on the critical aspects of performance-based seismic design and its vital role in developing safer and more resilient infrastructure. Key highlights included Seismic Design Philosophy, Modeling and Analysis, and Performance Evaluation, along with an emphasis on the importance of collaboration among design professionals, researchers, and industry stakeholders to advance seismic safety.
