Delegates from University of Michigan – Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China headed by Professor Dr. Soong Chul Ro, Assoc. Teaching Professor, UM-SJTU Joint Institute visited the Innovation Lab at AIT Solutions as part of the Global Challenge Tour – Entrepreneurship Study Visit Program hosted by Yunus Center at AIT. The purpose of this visit is to observe the social innovation and entrepreneurship in Thailand. The two-day study tour at AIT was packed with presentations and expert sessions about the Global Challenge Project as well as discussion sessions on the latest innovations at AIT.
The delegates are Master’s and undergraduate students with diverse background including Bioengineering, History, Computer Science, Creative and Cultural Industry, Physics, Preventive Medicine, Media and Communications, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. They also visited the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University to explore and learn about BangkokNoi model on health apps development in the community before departing for Bangladesh for another study visit.
