Computers and Structures Inc (CSI) USA, the pioneer and leading developer of structural and earthquake engineering software and close partner of AIT Solutions, donated two million baht to Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) for the earthquake victims in Indonesia and to set-up a relief fund at AIT for similar disasters that may occur in the future.

In November 2018, CSI President and CEO Mr. Ashraf Habibullah was a keynote speaker at the 7th Asia Conference on Earthquake Engineering (7ACEE) organized by AIT in Bangkok. As part of the conference, CSI sponsored a lavish and lively Conference Dinner Party for the delegates and other professionals.

During the party, Dr. Naveed Anwar, 7ACEE Organizing Committee Chairperson and Executive Director of AIT Solutions informed Mr. Ashraf about the devastating Indonesia earthquakes and that participants of the conference were encouraged to donate. Mr. Habibullah, as CSI President, generously donated one million baht for the victims. Another one million baht was donated as a disaster relief fund at AIT.

AIT President Dr. Eden Y. Woon expressed his appreciation to CSI for its generous donation and continuous support to the Institute.
