The School of Civil Engineering, Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand will host a conference on Advances in Civil Engineering for Sustainable Development (ACESD 2014) and is inviting scholars, researchers, and engineers to submit their cutting-edge, exciting, new breakthrough work in the area of Civil Engineering.

 

The three-day conference will be held on 27-29 August 2014, at Suranaree University of Technology,  Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand in cooperation with Center of Excellence in Civil Engineering, Association of Engineering Institutes of Thailand under Royal Patronage, International Geosynthetics Society – Thailand Chapter, and Metropolitan Waterworks Authority.

 

This event aims to provide a forum for dissemination of modern knowledge on civil and infrastructure engineering by scholars, researchers, and engineers from around the world.

 

The conference will feature presentations on various topics within the domain of civil engineering that include: applications of agricultural and industrial waste to reduce environmental and pollution problems; development of smart engineering materials and smart basic structures; and research results in soil improvement techniques and applications of synthetic materials.

 

ACESD 2014 will also serve as a platform for academics, researchers, and engineers in and outside Thailand to share and exchange knowledge and experience in research on sustainable development related to civil engineering.
