In continuation of the Asian Institute of Technology Master Plan project for the renewal and expansion of campus buildings and infrastructure at the AIT Pathumthani campus, Thailand, a meeting was held 3rd August 2011 with AIT Consulting and the architects from Bangkok Architecture and Urban Design Studio. The purpose of the plan is to foster growth and program changes, as well as increased quality, suitability and functionality of the facilities for both students and staff. The plan will include re-evaluation of the land-use zoning, a plan for expansion of academic programs, improved facilities and integration of technology to provide effective and efficient management and services to the students.

The meeting was attended by Executive Director and CEO of AIT Consulting, Dr. Naveed Anwar, Project Development Engineer Justin Arnold Finch, Architectural Draftsperson Sudhiksha Amatya, and Media Officer of the Multimedia, Media and Communication Unit at AIT Kim Escobin. The meeting was also attended by Assistant Professor Jittisak Thammapornpilas, Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Architecture, and Mr. Sarayut Supsook, Department of Architecture, Faculty of Architecture, at Chulalongkorn University and of Bangkok Architecture and Urban Design Studio.
