In aim of establishing a politically stable and economically developed country, the Myanmar government has over the past few years been embarking on reform and promoting nationwide rebuilding project efforts. Shwe Taung Development Co., Ltd., established in 1990 has been dedicated to achieve sustainable and healthy growth and has set out its new mission to be a part of the rebuilding processes of the nation. Shwe Taung Development Co. Ltd., an organization consisting of a group of diverse companies focuses on eight main Business activities, namely Energy, Construction and Engineering, Property and Real Estate, Shopping Center and Hotel, Cement and Construction Material, Investment, Trading and Entertainment. Since its establishment, the organization has continuously been undertaking several development projects and endeavors to contribute its expertise to the nation of Myanmar in rebuilding the country under the new management and the new international environment, while actively participating in social development projects for its fellow citizens.
AIT Consulting Executive Director Dr. Naveed Anwar, accompanied by Project Coordinator, Mr. Thaung Htut Aung had the opportunity to visit the organization to discuss about possible collaboration for Shwe Taung Group’s Construction and Engineering business area. The organization has entered the construction industry since 1991, and has since its inception undertaken building construction projects such as residential housing development; high-rise skyscrapers and condominiums; plazas; hospital, university, school and office buildings, television production and shopping complexes, amongst many others. Shwe Taung Group was interested in future collaboration with AIT Consulting, particularly for capacity building in areas of construction management and structural engineering.
