The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) constructed a new Knowledge City Police Station adjacent to its main gate in less than three months using a combination of Habitech and Ferrocement technologies developed at AIT. AIT Solutions, which was involved in the design and construction of this project, documented the construction process using Drone technology to use as a model for people to get familiar with the cost-effective, green, and safe way of building a house or any building.
Habitech building technology has already been applied to construct school buildings, health clinics, hospitals, social housing, and other low-rise buildings in countries such as Bhutan, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, India, and Thailand. Habitech Center at AIT Solutions aims to bring this innovative technology to different communities as a better alternative in constructing affordable and durable housing.
