The Green Technology Workshop 2014 will be held on 24 June at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Conference Center, Pathumthani, Thailand. This workshop is a continuation of the two global issues that were addressed during the AIT Technology Event 2013: “What makes buildings green and sustainable?” and “Reducing the carbon footprint through sustainable production practices.”

 

Following the success of the AIT Technology Event, AIT responded to requests from esteemed guests by arranging focused events this year, with one carrying the topic Green Technology.

 

The Green Technology Workshop aims to provide a platform for both public and private sector in the field of buildings and the industry in discussing, interacting, and networking as well as discovering innovations in policy, technology, and best practices that will assist to achieve greater success in their sustainability efforts.

 

One of the speakers in the AIT Technology Event, Dr. Brahmanand Mohanty, Energy Expert and Visiting Faculty at AIT, will be the workshop’s key presenter. Dr. Mohanty will present industrial best practices of energy and environment management and discuss green building certification systems, focusing on advantages and drawbacks.”

 

The workshop will be divided into morning and afternoon sessions with each session holding a panel discussion. Renowned experts in the field of energy and environment will be part of the panel discussion.

 

Interested industry leaders and developers as well as development agencies are invited to participate in this event.
