Interested practitioners and researchers may still submit the abstracts of their relevant work for oral presentations and poster sessions for the Smart Materials & Surfaces (SMS Bangkok 2014) International Conference and Exhibition to be held on 26-28 August 2014 atSheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok, Thailand. The deadline for abstract submission is extended until 20 May 2014.
This three-day event is a powerful and unique opportunity to interact with a range of researchers interested in creating and applying modified surfaces and materials. Sessions will include: development and characterization of multifunctional and smart materials, surfaces, and coatings; characterization/properties of active materials, surfaces, and coatings; and smart materials/coatings application.
Keynote speakers comprised of distinguished experts which include Prof. Takuzo Aida, University of Tokyo, Japan; Prof. Elias Siores, Provost, Bolton University, UK; Dr. Paritud Bhandhubanyong, Panyapiwat Institute of Management, Thailand; and Prof. Young Hee Lee, Sungkyunkwan University, Suwon, Korea.
Prof. Ashutosh Tiwari of the Biosensors and Bioelectronics Centre, Linkoping University, Sweden, Prof. Joydeep Dutta, Chair in Nanotechnology Water Research Center, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman, and Dr. Naveed Anwar, Executive Director, AIT Consulting, Asian Institute of Technology, are the conference’s chair and co-chair.
The Conference Technical Committee offers a unique opportunity to publish all accepted papers in a special issue within the Advanced Materials Letters. The conference proceeding papers will be published in a special issue ofMaterials Today.
